Trina’s Favourite Winter Workout Gear
It is my personal belief that every degrees below -5 requires another layer on my torso. Disregard the wind-chill when you check the temperature - otherwise, you would never go outside!! And according to my winter attire mathematics, in -40 wind-chills we would look like marshmallows and not be able to move!

Torso |
- Sports bra: at this time of year I like the full body bra’s that cover your stomach an all of your Torso.
- Put a Long-sleeve breathable layer on
- Then another lighter jacket that is breathable.

- Sports bra: full body sports bra is a must in these temperatures
- Long-sleeve under layer that is breathable. IF you get something with wool make sure your skin can wear it or it may cause irritation.
- Next up in the mid layer where you are going to get your warmth...fleece, cotton, woollies...it is up to you it must be warm.
- This is key a water proof and wind braking layer. High collar is always good to keep out the draft.

Hands |
- A think mini mitt is all you need but the inside of your ski glove liners work well too.

- A glove with a liner and a wind breaking shell so you can take one layer off if you need too.

Head |
- Headband
- Sunscreen even in winter!! Barrier cream is also good to protect your skin from the harsh effects of the wind.
- Sunglasses will decrease glare and prevents snow in the eyes. We need all the Vit D we can get at this time of year!!

- Full hat, something that is breathable and will wick sweat from your head.
- Sunscreen
- Sunglasses
- Neck warmer if your outer layer does not come up high enough to prevent a draft.

- Sneakers with thin wool socks

- Sneakers with slightly wook socks.
- You may want to think about an attachable traction device for the bottom of our shoe if it is icy. This will prevent you from slipping on ice.
